“Someday we shall look back on this dark era of agriculture and shake our heads.
How could we have ever believed that it was a good idea to grow our food with poisons?” — Jane Goodall
SEEDS for LIFE is an awareness campaign produced to expose the human cost of pesticide abuse due to industrial agriculture in Argentina.
Specifically, SEEDS for LIFE focuses on the community of Avia Terai, Chaco, with the goal to raise awareness on the struggle of hundreds of families who are dealing with cancer and birth defects, as the result of continued exposure to pesticides.
SEEDS for LIFE generated positive impact among the community at the center of the campaign by contributing to improve local regulations on pesticide use, and by providing access to quality health care to some of the villagers.
"If pesticides are truly harmless, why must the workers applying them wear gas masks?" — Silvia Ponce, Aixa's mother
